CTC204 – Favourite Holiday Big Shot Project
Hello and welcome to my Blog. Last week we took a week off as most of the Crew were attending Stampin’ Up! events around the globe. I was lucky enough to attend On Stage in Auckland NZ. I missed all my friends in Brisbane but still had a wonderful time.
This week our inspiration is our Favourite Holiday Catalogue Big Shot Project. You may have started with me or you may have hopped over from Monique’s gorgeous project. Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I love the bauble card on page 10 of the Holiday Catalogue so I’ve decided to use it for my inspiration this week and it has plenty of Big Shotting (is that even a word?)
I don’t have the Beautiful Baubles Bundle so I’ve used what I have to re-create this card.
I’ve used the lovely Silver Foil-Edged Cards and Envelopes from page 11, the same as the sample. I’ve created my die-cut bauble, directly onto the card, with Eastern Medallions Thinlits (big shot) then I’ve attached a piece of Balmy Blue card stock behind it.
I’ve Silver Heat Embossed the circular stamp from Painted Glass and coloured it with Stampin’ Write Markers in Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel. I’ve die cut it with the Layering Circles Framelits (big shot) then layered a Silver Glimmer Paper Scalloped Circle (big shot) behind it. There’s a cute little bottle cap (big shot) on top of the “bauble” from the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits. I’ve also added a Night of Navy Baker’s Twine bow.
The sentiment is from Peaceful Noel and is White Heat Embossed on Night of Navy card stock. There’s a Silver Glimmer paper layer behind it, I’ve die cut them using Bottles & Bubbles Framelits (big shot). The Snowflakes are die cut from the White Velvet Sheets using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits (big shot).
Next up tonight is Rose’s beautiful project. Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
