Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing your favourite project from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. With so much to choose from how could I pick my favourite project? I narrowed it down to my favourite suite of products then chose to CASE the card in the bottom right hand corner of page 123 of the Annual Catalogue.

I like this card so much I’ve kept very close to the sample. My Card base is Night of Navy with layers of Seaside Spray and Gray Granite. My layer of Gray Granite has been stamped with three of the images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set then embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I’ve also used my long retired Spritzer Tool and an Early Espresso Stampin’ Marker to add some splatter.

The flower has been stamped in Memento Black and coloured with Rococo Rose Blends. I’ve added some Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon (this ribbon is soooooo pretty) and some In Good Taste DSP. I’ve also added some retired Black Rhinestones for a touch of bling. The sentiment is from Many Mates and is stamped in Night of Navy ink.

Marvi was very interested in my card this week. After I’d taken a good photo the card was on the floor and the flower was ripped off. I did manage to save the rest of the card though.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week is a big week for CASEing the Catty, Happy Anniversary to us, it’s our 6th Anniversary. I haven’t been here from the beginning but a few of the crew have. Happy Anniversary everyone. It’s been an eventful week in the Stampincat household too with work, classes and a minor car accident. I was stopped in a queue of traffic at a round-a-bout but the person behind me didn’t quite stop in time resulting in a low impact collision. Thankfully no one was injured and my car is still drivable until it goes in for repair.

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the colours of the Flowers For Every Season DSP. Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.

I’ve CASEd the card on the bottom of page 175 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve started with a Cinnamon Cider card base with layers of Just Jade and Whisper White. On my WW layer I’ve made a watercolour wash by colouring my Clear Block E with my Misty Moonlight Marker, spritzing it with water then stamping on my WW card stock.

The flower stems are die cut in Just Jade using the Well Written Framelits. Then I’ve used the flower from the Cherry Blossoms Dies to die cut the flowers directly from the Flowers For Every Season DSP.

I could have fussy cut these flowers but I was pressed for time. I’ve popped the flowers up on dimensionals then flicked some Wink Of Stella over the whole card.

The sentiment is from the Forever Blossoms stamp set and is stamped in Magenta Madness.

Marvi is enjoying the sun more than he’s enjoying my card. I think he’s giving it a one paw rating.

Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s time for our Sunday night CASEing the Catty blog hop. This week we are CASEing the animals of the Catty. We have so many animals in the current catty, which animal should I case? There’s birds, hippos, unicorns, dogs, kangaroos, foxes, sloths, zebras, just to name a few. I think there was only one clear choice and that was to use cats. I think Marvi would have disowned me if I’d chosen anything but a cat.

I’ve CASEd the animal card at the bottom of page 55 of the Annual Catalogue.

Question: What’s better than a cat? Answer: 3 Cats.

My card base is Flirty Flamingo, it co-ordinates with the cats ears and bow. I’ve used pieces of Playful Pets DSP matted in Basic Black card stock then die cut three Whisper White Stitched Rectangles to sit my cats on.

I fussy cut the three cats directly from the DSP then popped them up on dimensionals. The greeting is from Here’s A Card stamp set.

Marvi gave his approval this week although sometimes he looks grumpy like the first cat, but not today, he looked quite happy with my card this week.
