Hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for joining us for tonights blog hop. We’re back CASEing the SAB Catty for one last time, as it ends today. What was your favourite product from the Catalogue?

This week I’ve chosen the “Thank you so much” card in the top left hand corner of page 12.

I couldn’t decide what colour to make my card so I made 3 of them in Cinnamon Cider, Merry Merlot and Old Olive.

I’ve used the Scripty 3D embossing folder to replicate the embossed background. The Very Vanilla panel on the left hand side has been stamped with background stamps from Very Versailes and Textured Essentials. Then I’ve stamped the gum nut image from Enjoy The Moment over the top.

I’ve finished off my cards with a sentiment from Many Mates, a Braided Linen Trim bow and some Champagne Rhinestones.

Marvi was happy to pose for photos today. He’s been a bit naughty this week. In the middle of the night, he pushed his ceramic food bowl off the bench and smashed it on the floor. The noise was so loud it woke me up. Apparently the bowl wasn’t big enough for him.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty it’s all about the bling. I know that little touch of bling can make such a huge difference to any project. You can use anything that glitters or sparkles. I’ve CASEd the blue “You are an Inspiration” card on page 24 of the 2021 Mini Catalogue.

I’ve started with a Night of Navy card base followed by a layer of Whisper White. Next I’ve added a Dandy Laser Cut layer. If you look closely you’ll see the flowers on the laser cut piece are gold. I’ve done this by using my Versamark, Heat & Stick Powder and some Gilded Leafing. Now I’ll say this wasn’t easy and the fine die cut flowers didn’t cover evenly but I think that adds to the effect.

My dragonflies are stamped on Vellum card stock using Night of Navy ink. I punched them out with the co-ordinating Dragonflies Punch. The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy ink on Poppy Parade card stock. I’ve also added some Metallic Pearls for a little bit more bling.

Marvi didn’t try to eat any part of this weeks card, thank goodness. Although I’m sure those dragonflies were tempting him.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Happy Valentine’s Day or as I like to call it, Happy Galentines Day. Here’s a shout out to all the gal friends in my life.

This week we are CASEing the Donkey Sketch from page 5 of the Sale-a-bration Catty. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

Here’s a breakdown of the sketch.

I’ve used the Darling Donkeys stamp set for my CASE as I hadn’t inked it up yet and thought it was about time I did.

My card base is Basic Black followed by layers of So Saffron and In Good Taste DSP. To create the three gold lines behind the donkey I’ve used the new Gilded Leafing. This stuff is so pretty and very easy to use. I adhered three strips of Tear N Tape to my DSP then dunked it into the Gilded Leafing, brushed the excess off and it was done. Too easy.

The donkey was Gold Heat Embossed on Crumb Cake card stock then I added some bleach to an old Aqua Painter and “coloured” in the body of my donkey. When the bleach dried it pulled the colour out of the card stock. I’ve also used my water colour pencils for his ears, nose, hooves and the rose.

I had just finished bleaching my donkey when a friend arrived. I left my card on my craft desk and when I came back Marvi was on the desk licking my donkey. I took it off him then he started licking the paper towel I’d wiped some bleach on. I put the paper towel in the bin then he started licking the desk where the paper towel had been. I went into a bit of a panic because I thought he might have poisoned himself, I’m happy to report Marvi showed no ill effects and is OK. It was the weirdest thing, like the bleach was like catnip, he couldn’t get enough. Marvi you are a seriously strange boy!!!

So Marvi really like this card, well he liked licking the bleached donkey. I may have to hide this card so he can’t lick it anymore.
