Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing a Christmas Tree Project this week. There’s plenty of inspiration in the new Mini Catalogue, I couldn’t decide which project to CASE. I narrowed it down to the snow globe card on the top left hand side of page 20.

I’ve chosen completely different colours but kept the layout very similar.

My card base is Starry Sky followed by a layer of Basic White that’s been embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. The trees have been die cut from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack using the Snowman Dies. I’ve added some Snowflake Specialty Vellum behind my trees. When you tilt the vellum in the sun you see a beautiful rainbow effect.

The snow globe base is hand cut from Evening Evergreen card stock and I’ve run it through a retired embossing folder called Pinewood Planks. The sentiment is Silver heat embossed and I’ve added an Orchid Oasis 1/8″ Metallic ribbon bow.

Last week I mentioned we’d been doing some concreting and Marvi was stuck inside all day. I finally let him out into the backyard thinking the concrete was dry as we’d been walking on it……….but I was wrong. Can you see his little paw prints?

This week we’ve been having some glorious sunny winter weather here in Queensland. I found Marvi in the backyard sunning himself on the table so I took a quick picture. He’s looking quite handsome in todays picture.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing from the Sale-A-Bration Catty again. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve used the “get well soon” card on the left hand side of page 15, as my inspiration.

I’ve changed up the colours but kept very close to the layout.

I did struggle putting this card together. I like things nice and square and even so this card really challenged me. My card base is Basic Gray followed by a layer of Mint Macaron which has been embossed with the Splatters Embossing Folder. Next I added a layer of Splendid Day SDSP. The leaf image is Silver Heat Embossed on Basic White card stock then I’ve used a Blending Brush to add a little colour. I’ve used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create the rectangle and the frame around my leaf image.

I’ve added a couple of strips of Splendid Day SDSP behind the leaf image. To tie in the sentiment I’ve stamped some Fresh Freesia card stock with Basic Gray ink using the Art Gallery stamp set. I’ve also added some Sparkle & Shine Sequins for a touch of bling.

Marvi has been stuck inside all day as we’ve been concreting up one side of the house. I’m sure he thought if he posed nicely I’d let him out to add his paw of approval.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing from the Love, Thanks and Support Section of the Annual Catalogue, pages 56-77. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve been a bit time poor this week so I’ve chosen to CASE the very simple Thank You So Much card from page 76.

The sample card uses the Perfectly Penciled DSP but I didn’t have any so I substituted with Abigail Rose DSP.

My card base is Crumb Cake which I’ve stamped with some random spots from the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I’ve added a layer of Cajun Craze behind the Abigail Rose DSP.

My sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. I’ve White Heat embossed it on Mint Macaron card stock then added a thin strip of He’s The Man DSP behind it. To finish off my card I’ve tied a Baker’s Twine bow and added some Champagne Rhinestones.

Marvi was trying to make up for my card being so simple, by posing really cute today. I’m not sure he’s achieved cute though lol.
