CTC377 – Case The SAB Catalogue

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing from the July-August 2022 SAB Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’m using the “so very merry” card in the middle of page 13 as my inspiration, although my card has gone in a very different direction to the sample.

I’ve changed the colours, size and layout of my card but I have used the same dies, the Tree Lot Dies. I also have an embossed background like the sample card.

My card base is Basic Black with a layer of Evening Evergreen. The next Very Vanilla layer has been embossed using one of the Charming Landscapes Embossing Folder. There’s two embossing folders in this pack, the other folder has some funky houses on a hill. The large tree has been die cut directly from the Lights Aglow DSP using the Twinkling Lights Dies.

The smaller four trees have also been die cut from the Lights Aglow DSP, I’ve then layered the trees with some Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using the Tree Lot Dies. The sentiment is Gold Heat Embossed and is from the Brightest Glow stamp set.

I think Marvi has approved of my first Christmas card for the year. He was all eyes today, although there could have been a bird on the fence behind me.
