Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s our last blog hop for 2023 and we are CASEing any project from the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalogue. I’d like to thank everyone that’s supported our Blog Hops during the year, your likes and comments are very much appreciated. We’ll be back next year with a brand new Mini Catalogue and SAB Catty.

As this will be the last time we CASE from the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalogue, I had a hard time choosing which project to CASE.

I eventually chose the “Joy” card on the right hand side of page 61 and I’ve used one new product available in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catty.

My card base is Night of Navy followed by a layer of Fresh As A Daisy DSP, I’ve used the Deckled Rectangles to die cut this piece. The navy stripe circle is from One Horse Open Sleigh DSP and has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. I’ve used the new Mini Alphabet Dies for the word “Joy” using Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

I’ve fussy cut the flowers and leaves from the Garden Walk DSP. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Flirty Flamingo card stock. Not your typical Christmas colours but I loved how it turned out.

Marvi has had a huge week this week. On Wednesday night I found him playing with a big snake in the backyard. It was only a python however we did call in the snake catcher to relocate it. On Friday he helped me write out my Christmas cards, sorry to anyone that had cat fur in with their card and yesterday Marvi decided he wanted to sample some Schmackos which I’d purchased for his dog cousins Ollie and Pepper. Look how nicely he posed for this weeks photo, he’s still in trouble for getting into the Schmackos lol.

I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Once again, thank you for all the support during 2023 and I’ll be back next year to bring your more creations from CASEing the Catty.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Throughout the year, this is the blog hop I’ve found the most challenging. We’re CASEing the Colours of Merry, Bold & Bright DSP. The colours are Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce and Blueberry Bushel.

If you’ve seen any of my cards you’ll know I don’t use these bright colours very often. I may use just a smidge of one of the colours just to add a pop of colour, but to use them all on one card was very difficult. The other thing I struggled with was not having everything straight, does anyone else struggle with this or is it just me?

I’ve CASEd the card on the left hand side of the above graphic using all of the above mentioned colours. The checked layer is from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack which ties in with the Crushed Curry layer behind it.

The sentiments are all from the Christmas Classics stamp set and are White Heat Embossed. I’ve also added a Gold Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper star.

Marvi was more interested in his cat grass than my card. He’s not used to me making such bright cards, maybe it was too bright for him too.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the Bundle section of the Mini Catty, pages 66-73. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

My CASE is a combination of two card, I started out CASEing the Forever Forest Bundle card and it morphed into CASEing the Christmas Classics Bundle card, above in the bottom right hand corner.

My card base is Mossy Meadow followed by a layer of Wild Wheat. Next I’ve added a layer of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP. The Distressed Gold Specialty Paper works really well with the Christmas Classics Dies. The sentiment is from the Christmas Classics stamp set.

I’ve inlaid the Wild Wheat and Old Olive holly leaves with a Basic Black stem and added a couple of Gold Adhesive-backed Glimmer Paper leaves. The red holly is from the Loose Holly Gems and Sequins.

Mr Marvi was relaxing on the back patio. It’s been 30+ degrees in Queensland all week. You’d think he’d look for a nice cool shady spot in the garden, not my Marvi hahaha.
