Hello and welcome to my blog. As the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue is ending in two days we’re doing one last blog hop and CASEing our Favourite Annual Catalogue Project. I wouldn’t say the card I’ve CASEd is my all time favourite however it does catch my eye every time I look through the Catalogue and this is my last chance to CASE it.

I’ve CASEd the “Congrats” card in the middle of page 55 of the Annual Catalogue. Instead of using the Hello Kiwi stamp set I’ve used the Paper Florist Dies.

My card base is Basic Black with layers of Basic White and Delightfully Eclectic DSP. For the flowers I decided to use the retiring 2022-2024 retiring In Colours Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis.

The sentiment is from the Phrases For All stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Basic Black card stock. I’ve also added a few retired Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems.

Marvi was happy to pose for a photo this week, I think Parakeet Party really compliments his eyes.

Hello and welcome to my blog. There’s only 9 days until the current Mini Catalogue ends so this week we’re CASEing our Favourite Project from the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

The above graphic shows the Poetic Expressions Suite which happens to be my favourite suite from the Catty so I’ve CASEd the gorgeous packaging and turned it into a card.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Poetic Expressions DSP. I’ve stamped the flowers and hummingbird then coloured them with my watercolour pencils. I’ve tried to create partial colouring, leaving some areas uncoloured.

I’ve added some Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow leaves behind the flowers. To finish off my card I’ve die cut three Highland Heather flowers and given them a Festive Pearl centre.

At first, Marvi thought he might like to rip the hummingbird right off my card but soon decided the promise of real treats was worth posing nicely.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week as CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing our Favourite Retiring Punch Project from either Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Judy’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve really stepped outside my comfort zone this week for three reasons. A stamped collage technique, using Crushed Curry (a little bit goes a long way in my book) and I’ve offset my layers (I so prefer my layer to be straight and even). But I just love the finished project.

I’ve used the “thank you” card on page 94 of the Annual catalogue as my inspiration, which uses the Inked & Tile Punch Pack.

My card base is Lost Lagoon followed by a layer of Inked Botanicals DSP. Crushed Curry isn’t one of my favourite colours however I think it really works well for this card. I’ve used a second piece of Inked Botanicals, in Lost Lagoon tones, and I’ve added some Lost Lagoon and Crushed Curry ink with a Blending Brush. I’ve used the Something Fancy Dies to make the “window” for my sentiment. Next I’ve White Heat Embossed a stamp from the Notes Of Nature stamp set.

I’ve stamped some leaves in Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock and a grid pattern and some splotches in Memento Black. The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and I’ve added a few Adhesive Backed Sequins to finish off.

Marvi was hanging out on one of the bar stools in the kitchen. He barely fits but he doesn’t let that stop him. He usually sits there each night and watches me while I’m cooking dinner. He’s very opportunistic, you can’t turn your back on him for a second or your food is gone.
