Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing from the Bundles Section, page 57-73. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to CASE the Spotlight On Nature Bundle from page 69 of the Catalogue however I’ve changed it up by using some Mediterranean Blooms DSP.

The “Dear Friend” box caught my eye so I’ve taken my inspiration from that.

I’ve used a Misty Moonlight card base followed by a layer of DSP. I have the Spotlight On Nature Dies however I don’t have the Spotlight On Nature stamp set. I’ve fussy cut the orange images from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP instead of using flowers.

The sentiment is from the Labeled With Love stamp set and is stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink. I’ve also added a few Champagne Iridescent Dots.

Marvi wasn’t too keen for a picture this week. I’m looking after Mike again, my friends dog. Marvi was keeping one eye on Mike at all times, just in case.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing the Take To The Sky Suite, page 36 of the Annual catalogue. I don’t have any of this suite so I’ve used the Legendary Ride stamp set and co-ordinating dies to create my card this week.

I’ve CASEd the card in the top right of page 36, using a similar layout and colours.

My card base is Boho Blue and I’ve stamped the flames in Boho Blue as well. The motorbike is die cut out of a few colours, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Night of Navy and Silver Foil.

The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and I’ve added a piece of Nature’s Sweetness SDSP behind it. I’ve also added a few Rhinestones which I’ve coloured with a Night of Navy Blend.

I’m not sure what Marvi is thinking today. Give me your best caption for that look on his face!

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a Sketch from page 22 of the Annual Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

There’s 22 different sketches to choose from and I went with this sketch.

I’ve used the Round We Go Bundle and CASEd a card on page 63 of the catalogue. If you look at the photo of the cards on this page you’ll see the little template in the top right corner of the photo? This shows you which template has been used on one of the samples.

My card base is Smoky Slate followed by a layer of Pretty In Pink then another layer of Nature’s Sweetness SDSP. The pinwheel is die cut from the Country Lace DSP. It’s a little bit tricky to use a DSP with lines on in, and get the lines to match up. My tip is to place your die in the same place on the pattern, on your DSP.

I’ve die cut two scalloped circles in Basic Gray and topped them with a Silver Foil Sheet die cut. The centre of these is die cut from 2024-2026 In Colour Glimmer Specialty Paper. The sentiment is from the Round We Go stamp set.

At first Marvi was very intrigued with the pinwheel on my card. I’m sure he was thinking it would be easy for him to rip it off and play with. He eventually posed nicely for a photo but I did have to distract him to get this picture.
