Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been much cooler weather here in Queensland this last week with sunny days and cool nights. Mr Marvi has been seeking the sun during the day and seeking the warmth of my bed during the night. I’ve noticed that he snores most nights but not that loud that it keeps me awake.
There’s only 3 days until Stampin’ Up! launch their new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. If you don’t have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the Catty please let me know. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re excited to give you a sneak peek of the Catty, by CASEing the front cover. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’ve CASEd the card on the right hand side of the cover, using some fabulous new products.
My card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of Gray Granite. Next I’ve added some new In Good Taste DSP, using the wooden plank image to replicate the stripes of colour on the sample card. This gorgeous DSP has many photographic images and visual textures, I can see I’ll be using a lot of this DSP. I’ve White Heat Embossed a couple of leaf images from the new stamp set, Lovely You.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in Gray Granite then punched with the new Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. This brand new punch is six punches in one. It has two designs, three widths and you can use any length. How convenient and versatile is that!!! I’ve added a few Woven Threads Sequins to finish off my card.
The inside of the card has a layer of Gray Granite then Whisper White. I’ve stamped the greeting and leaf from Lovely You in Gray Granite.
Marvi didn’t try to destroy my card this week so that must mean he likes it.
It’s time to hop over and see Tina’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
I love the colours you have used. That DSP is stunning and I love it with the white embossing on it.
Great card Peta. I love your choice of colours and the white heat embossing looks fabulous with this design! Awesome way to show off this stunning paper!! Love!
I love embossing on wood but your colour choice is gorgeous, so subtle. Nicely finished on the inside. Marvi looks like he thinks he needs a treat for good behavior.
really love the white embossing and the overall colour scheme
Beautiful card. The muted, subdued colors are subtle and elegant.
Love the subtle colours and that DSP is stunning and is a great substitute for the different strips.
