Hello and welcome to my blog. Unfortunately I missed last weeks hop as I was volunteering at my local sporting club, in preparation for a huge 2 day competition coming up next weekend.
This week we are CASEing a Glitter Project from either Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
When it comes to Glittery projects you can’t go past the Lights Aglow Suite. I’ve CASEd the red Christmas Tree card on page 32.
I’ve changed the colours of my card but kept very close to the layout.
My card base is Basic Black and I’ve layered some strips of Lights Aglow SDSP and some Glimmer Specialty Paper across the front. The sample card has a couple of swirls die cut into the SDSP but I’ve used dots on two of the pieces of SDSP, using the Labels Aglow Dies, so you can see the Gold Glitter Paper shine through. I’ve also die cut a Very Vanilla Glimmer circle using the Layering Circles Dies.
The Christmas Tree has been Gold Heat Embossed on Very Vanilla card stock. The sentiment has also been Gold Heat Embossed on the Lights Aglow SDSP.
I think Marvi was complaining about how Glittery my card was. It took me ages to get a half decent photo of him, maybe all the glitteryness (is that even a word?) was hurting his eyes.
It’s time to hop over and see Tina’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
We’d love for you to join our challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Marvi! There is no such thing as too glittery! Peta, your card is wonderful! I’m not a fan of the black DSP in this pack, but you’ve used it so beautifully.
Love your black and gold take on this card. Marvi does not look happy at all!
Just love the layering and the way you’ve used the dies – very elegant and refined.
