Welcome to our Sunday night CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. You may have hopped over from Rebecca, thanks for continuing on with me.
Can you believe it’s just over 3 weeks until Christmas? I’ve nearly made all my Christmas cards but I haven’t even thought about Christmas shopping yet.
This week we are CASEing a Colour Combination from either Catalogue.
The card on page 43 of the Annual Catalogue caught my eye.
I’ve changed the star shape to a reindeer so I now have another card in my Christmas Card stash.
It was very hard for me to adhere my Pool Party cardstock and my banner at an angle but I threw caution to the wind and didn’t put them on straight lol. I think my card is more angled than the original!!!
I added a Silver Foil frame around my reindeer and changed the Baker’s Twine for some Silver Mini Sequins. I’ve used a single sequin for the reindeer’s eye.
The sentiment is from Christmas Quilt. I used my Island Indigo Marker to ink up the “merry” then stamped it near my reindeer. The “Christmas” is heat embossed with white embossing powder. I’ve also added some Washi Tape and a strip of Silver Foil Card under my sentiment.
My assistant Marvi hasn’t featured for a while. He’s been on a diet and he hasn’t been too happy to pose for photos. He thinks I’m slowly starving him but the good news is he’s lost 370g bringing his weight down to 6.75kg.
Next on the hop is Elizabeth. Just click on the next button to hop over to her beautiful project.
Why not join in on our weekly challenges? We’d love to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by.

I love your Christmas twist on your CASE this week. It is funny how often we don’t think to use the negative space!
Great card Peta! That reindeer is my favourite and he looks great as a negative! Kelly x
