Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week our inspiration comes from the Nature’s Poem section, pages 142-153 of the Annual Catalogue. You may have arrived here from Jackie’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me. Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’ve had a crazy busy week with family Birthday celebrations, work and classes. I’ve been working 9 1/2 hour days with 6am starts then I had 2 classes on Friday. I’ve barely had time to craft!!!
I needed a quick male card that could be used for either a Birthday or for Father’s Day. I’ve taken my inspiration from the green card in the above graphic. Here’s a closer look at the card.
Although this card could be suitable for a male card I still don’t own the Rooted In Nature Bundle………it’s on the list. So I’ve used One Wild Ride instead.
My card base is Blueberry Bushel and I’ve stamped the sentiment randomly here, there and everywhere. Then I’ve added some Best Route DSP and a thin strip of Mango Medley card stock that has been embossed with one of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders.
The bike has been stamped in Blueberry Bushel then die cut with a Stitched Shape Circle Framelit. I’ve used the same colour ink for the sentiment on a Grey Granite banner.
The next Blog to visit is the lovely Monique. Just click on the button below.
