Welcome to another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week our inspiration is to CASE from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. You may have arrived here from Monique’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me. Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
This week I’ve chosen to CASE a card from the Sale-a-bration 2nd release catalogue.
I’ve CASEd the corner border on the card rather than the actual card.
My card base is Crumb Cake with another Crumb Cake layer that’s been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. My corner borders are stamped with the Detailed With Love stamp set and also punched with the Detailed Trio Punch.
The sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake and has two layers of ribbon behind it. Crumb Cake 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon and Black/Silver 1/4″ Striped Metallic Ribbon.
Marvi, my assistant, was too sleepy for photos today. He decided the chair in my craft room was very comfortable.
Next up tonight is Julia’s beautiful project. Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
We’d love for you to join us for this challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your creation to the wall.

Such a sophisticated card, with so many lovely touches. Love the restrained colour palette, Peta.
This is amazing. I love the subtle colours and the subtle details.
Love how you CASEd corner details with the punched out details.
Love the corner treatment on your card, Peta. Such an elegant card.
Such a classic card! So elegant. My “helpers” also pinch my chair!
I just love the black showing through the punched corners – such a subtle but lovely detail. The centre oval looks like a piece of suede or leather. And as always, Marvi is too cute.
oooh, nice! the corner pieces are wonderful – a great way to CASE the catalogue card.
