Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s Sunday evening again which means it’s time for Caseing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing from the Kids & Babies section, pages 98-105. You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’ve chosen the kangaroo card on page 102 for my inspiration this week.
I’ve kept the layout quite similar but changed the kangaroo for a rhino with a little bird on his horn.
My card base is Petal Pink with a layer of polka dot Bird Ballad DSP. I’ve die cut a Pool Party Layering Square and adhered it behind a Whisper White piece, die cut with Animal Friends. The rhino is sitting on a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
I’ve used Support Ribbon Framelits and Stitched Labels Framelits for the hearts. The sentiment is from Animal Outing and is stamped in Bermuda Bay on a piece of Pool Party card stock.
Here’s Marvi with his best pose for today. Normally he’s not allowed on the kitchen bench but when it’s for photos I guess we can bend the rules.
Next up tonight is Sandra’s beautiful project. Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
We’d love for you to join this challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.
Beautiful colouring. Love all the vegetation in the background along with the ribbon.
I love this card in the catty and I have thought about CASEing it a few times. And I absolutely love your version of it. So pretty and Mr Rhino is such a cutie. Not as cute as Marvi, of course, who is posing so nicely!
Love your choice of DSP as it really makes Me Rhino stand out even more. Great choice of colours too. Basically just love everything about your card!
What an adorable card! I hadn’t noticed this card in the catalogue, but I will look now, as I love the background using the leaf die. Very clever, and I love your version using the cute rhino and birdie.
Two terrific cards, like your colour choices especially the rich razzleberry with Bermuda Bay.
Silly me, of course one is by Stampin’Up!
So many pretty layers. And such gorgeous colouring!! And cheeky Marvi!!
