CTC273 – Case the Colours of Playing With Patterns DSP

Hey there, welcome to my blog. I can’t believe it’s Sunday night already, where did the weekend go? It’s been cool and overcast with a few showers of rain here in Queensland. Perfect crafting weather. Our challenge this week is to CASE the colours of the Playing With Patterns DSP. The colours are Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Purple Posy and Whisper White.

I’ve CASEd the shaker card in the top left hand corner on page 11 of the Annual Catalogue and managed to include all of the above colours.

My card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Purple Posy Gingham DSP from the 2019-2021 In Colour paper stack. I’ve stamped my bunch of flower in Memento Black on some Whisper White card stock then coloured it with Blends. I stamped the flowers a second time on a scrap of card then fussy cut the tulips, coloured them then popped them up on dimensionals. I’ve used the new Jar Punch and co-ordinating Mason Jar Shaker Domes.

I’ve added some retired Iridescent sequins to my jar. The Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon has been coloured with my Night of Navy Blend so my ribbon matches my card base. The sentiment is White Heat Embossed and is from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.

Marvi was actually outside when I was taking photos of my card. He saw me through the window and was quite upset I was taking photos without him.

He quickly ran to the back door and came in through the pet door. Jumped up on the table and was ready for his photo.
