Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we have a sketch challenge. The sketch is of the card in the middle of page 30 of the Mini Catty.
You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I decided to use the Sun Prints DSP on my card. Even though it’s not technically a Christmas paper I think it really works well.
My card base is Night of Navy followed by a layer of Basic White then my DSP. I’ve used the Labels Aglow Dies directly on my DSP to create the circular pattern. I love how the white really pops through the die cut.
The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy. I have a Silver Foil circle behind the sentiment. I’ve also added some retired Whisper White Flax Ribbon, some white stars and a few For Everything Fancy Sequins.
Marvi didn’t look too impressed this week. I had a really busy weekend and I took this photo very early in the morning. He would usually still be fast asleep.
It’s time to hop over and see Rachel’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
We’d love for you to join our challenge.  Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.

You’re right – the sun prints paper works perfectly!! I love your card and you take on this sketch!!
Oh I love this! The Sun Prints DSP is perfect with the dies and other elements on your card. I think Marvi looks cute.
Oh Marvi, that face!
I love your choice of the white mat behind the Sun Print layer as it really highlights the diecuts. It all frames your greeting perfectly.
Another gorgeous Christmas card, love the paper you’ve used to show the die cut so well.
