Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing the Country Woods Suite, pages 48-49 of the Annual Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
My inspiration has come from the little “so lucky to know you” card on page 49. I’ve made my card the standard card size rather than a small square card like the sample.
My card base is Crumb Cake followed by a layer of Country Woods DSP. I’ve stamped the little pail on Wild Wheat card stock then filled it with leaves. The leaves are die cut from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP, which is part of a new Online Exclusive Suite, to be released on 3rd July 2024. This DSP is exactly as it’s described, green and gold, which are very Australian colours.
Don’t you just love the gold foil accents in the SDSP? The Golden Greenery Dies cut several of the leaf images directly from the SDSP, you gotta love that. I’ve added an Adhesive-backed gold Dragonfly to tie in with the gold in the leaves.
It was a sunny day in Queensland today however it was cool and windy outside. Marvi decided outside was not for him so he sat inside in the sun while I was outside taking photos in the cool wind. He’s such a smart boy.

A beautiful card Peta. I love your use of the gorgeous new speciality DSP. It is wonderful sitting in the Country Flowers bucket. The golden dragonfly is a delightful touch. Marvi is very clever staying nice and comfortable inside. x
