Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing from the Bundle section of the Annual Catalogue, pages 57-73. You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve CASEd the same card as Kathryn however I’ve made my card a Christmas card and I’ve changed the colours.
The “Inspired by you” card is on page 72 of the Annual Catalogue.
My card base is Lost Lagoon followed by a layer of Basic White. I’ve added another layer of Pool Party which has been embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. I have also die cut a “window” from this layer using the Nested Essentials Dies. There’s a piece of Winter Meadow DSP behind my “window”.
The trees are die cut elements from A Little Bit Festive SDSP (164107). The coloured border around the trees actually determined the colour of my card as I wasn’t keen to remove the border by fussy cutting it. The sentiment is from the Reindeer Days stamp set and is White Heat Embossed. I’ve also added a few white Adhesive-backed Sequins from the Trio pack.
Marvi was sitting on the kitchen bench so I thought that would be a good photo opportunity. Marvi is not allowed on the kitchen bench however judging by the amount of fur he leaves behind, it looks like he is on the bench all day when I’m at work.
