The Joy of Sets challenge f

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog.  Today I’m sharing a card that I made for The Joy of Sets Challenge.  This is their very first challenge and I’m excited to be playing along.

Every 2 weeks there is a new challenge.  You may use any Stampin’ Up! stamp set, new or retired, but there’s a twist.   There will be a new letter selected each fortnight and that letter must be in the name of the stamp set you use.  For this challenge the letter is “F”.

I’ve use the new stamp set Floral Statements.  I’ve only just got this stamp set and this is the first card I’ve made with it.

Don’t you just love the colours?  I tried a new technique called the Baby Wipe technique.  Can you see what I’m doing here…….new challenge, new stamp set, new technique…….

Baby Wipe Technique

I folded up 3 baby wipes and put them in my embossing tray so I didn’t make a big mess lol.   Then I squeezed ink from my re-inkers onto the baby wipe then used the baby wipe like an ink pad.  The colours I’ve used are Wisteria Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Sahara Sand.
